How to Stand out at WorkAugust 10, 2017
Don’t set goals, set systems
A goal is one achievement while a system is the process that leads to that goal. If you use systems it will lead to real results.
Be a good story teller
If you are selling something, you have to be able to communicate it clearly and in an intelligent way.
Stay a step ahead of your critics
You want to be prepared for any questions or doubts that your critics may have.
Have buffers in your schedule
Schedule empty blocks of time (an hour a day) in your calendar to ensure you have some me-time and to take a breather.
Give credit to others
You can make yourself look good by noticing other people’s accomplishments and making them happy.
