Immune Boosting Smoothie

Smoothies are a great way to boost your immune system throughout the winter. A few of the essential ingredients to boosting your immune system include blue berries which are known for their antiviral properties, all citrus fruits and veggies including kale, broccoli and tomatoes which are packed with vitamin C, spinach which is filled with iron, vitamin A & C, and green tea which is full of antioxidants to give your system a boost. The Refreshing Immune Boost Smoothie is a combination of the above foods to give your system the healthy boost it needs this season.


Refreshing Immune Boost Smoothie by Almost Raw Vegan

- 3 cups green tea

- Oranges, peel removed

- 1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds (soaked overnight & rinsed)

- 1/2 a cucumber

- 2-3 cups of spinach

Add all ingredients to the blender and blend on low speed and gradually increase to high speed until frothy.
