Here are some tips on how to improve productivity at work:

1) Take Time to Eat a Balance Breakfast and Lunch.

Eating a good breakfast each morning with protein and fruit will give you a boost to your day. To refuel at noon eating a good lunch with lots of greens will help you avoid the afternoon energy slump that can be prompted by a heavy burger or pasta.

2) Get a Good Night Sleep.

7-8 hours has been recommended by many studies and the stats show that not enough sleep can decreased your ability to pay attention and process new information.

3) Be Organized.

Take a few minutes when you sit down at your desk to organize your day so you know what needs to be done and what you have on your agenda for the day. Tackle your most important task first while your mind is fresh and leave more administrative tasks like organizing files and emails to the afternoon.

4) Take Away Distractions.

Try working offline as much as you can. The Internet has become the number one distraction, especially social media, which we all know too well can consume an hour in what feels like a minute.  Also try to limit how often you check your email to 2-3 times per day, you will be amazed at how much time this frees up!
