Everyone can spend a little more time reading wouldn’t you say? Reading is a great resolution for the new year. Why not pick up a book and learn something new or spend some time off of the screen? There is something about holding a physical copy of a book that cannot be beaten by an ebook. Don’t get me wrong ebooks are great for multiple reasons but I love reading a good book with a cup of tea in the morning! There are a ton of Bestseller books that are currently on sale at Chapter/Indigo. Here is what is currently on my reading list that you should consider picking up yourself!

Get Your Sh*t Together by Sarah Knight

Since it is the new year I am trying to set goals for myself and get my act together. I feel like we all feel like a mess sometimes and Sarah Knight delivers such tips in a humorous yet blunt way. This is a guide for all of you people who do not have their lives figured out yet. Just a heads up beware of the profanity!

Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur

I am not typically drawn to reading poetry but I cannot deny the praise and love for Rupi Kaur’s Milk and Honey. I think this would be a great quick yet impactful read.

A Dog’s Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron

This is a book that has been on my radar since watching the trailer for the Hollywood blockbuster. This is for all you dog lovers, myself included. In the perspective of the dog, this allows you to step back and imagine what goes on in the mind of your loyal best friend. I can already tell that this will be a tear jerker so have tissues near by at all times when reading it!

What She Knew by Gilly Macmillan

Everyone loves a great thriller, right? What She Knew is about a mother's search to find her missing son and has each reader on the edge of their seat.

The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying up by Marie Kondo

Aimed towards those who need some help with decluttering and organizing their lives. Marie Kondo’s advice, noted at times extreme can help create a clearer mind as well.
