As more and more people are learning about the toxicity of cosmetic ingredients in the deodorant, there’s more research and information surrounding its dangers and advocacy for natural alternatives!

The main ingredients to look out for that could be of concern are parabens, aluminum, triclosan, phthalates, and fragrance.

Parabens might interfere with estrogen and other hormones’ productions. This is why there’s an assumption it could be linked with cancer.

Lots of cosmetic manufacturers use triclosan as its a bacterial killer and can do so on the surface of the skin. It’s linked to unusual hormone activity and can cause unnatural hormone activity.

Phthalates help fragrance or cosmetic stick to your skiing, the impact of these compounds for women is that it could mess with fetal development for women.

Aluminum is usually found in antiperspirants and has been known to cause gene instability in the breast tissue which might lead to a link to cancer, but that is not confirmed.

These harmful ingredients are influencing consumers to make the change to ditching all underarm deodorant products completely or to switch to a natural deodorant. This is the best alternative if you want to keep using antiperspirant products. There are many deodorant options available everywhere, from Walmart to Amazon.
